The Tally Accountant is responsible for managing day‑to‑day accounting operations using Tally ERP or Tally Prime. This role involves accurate bookkeeping, handling accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, GST/VAT compliance (as applicable), and preparation of financial reports. The accountant ensures that financial data is recorded correctly and supports the finance team in audits and month-end closing.
Maintain accurate bookkeeping records in Tally ERP/TallyPrime.
Enter day-to-day transactions including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
Manage accounts payable and receivable with timely follow‑ups.
Maintain ledgers, trial balance, and ensure all entries are correctly posted.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Generate customized reports from Tally (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Inventory Summary, etc.).
