Accountant

Broadvision World School is seeking a detail-oriented and trustworthy Accountant to manage the school’s financial operations. The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing fee collections, handling payroll, ensuring statutory compliance, and supporting financial planning to ensure the smooth functioning of the institution.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Management

• Maintain accurate books of accounts (daily transactions, journals, ledgers)

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

• Monitor cash flow and prepare financial reports for management

• Manage bank reconciliations and petty cash records

2. Fee & Revenue Management

• Oversee student fee collection and tracking

• Maintain records of outstanding fees and coordinate follow-ups

• Generate fee receipts and financial reports related to admissions

3. Financial Controls & Reporting

• Implement and monitor internal financial controls

• Maintain confidentiality of financial data

• Provide financial insights and recommendations to school management

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce

• Minimum 1–3years of accounting experience.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and taxation

• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel

• High level of integrity and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certification.

• Experience in school ERP or fee management systems.

• Knowledge of payroll processing and statutory compliance.
