We are looking for an Accountant to join our team at at B Sirkar Johuree pvt ltd. The role involves managing financial transactions of the organization, preparing accurate reports, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. The position offers ₹20,000 - ₹25,000 and opportunities for professional growth.

Role & Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting operations including data entry, journal vouchers, and maintaining books of accounts in Tally / Tally Prime / ERP.

• Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable processes vendor invoices, payment processing, customer billing, and follow-ups.

• Perform monthly bank reconciliations, vendor reconciliations, and inter-company reconciliations.

• Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, MIS reports, and provisional / finalization of accounts.

• Support statutory audits, internal audits, and tax assessments by preparing required schedules, ledgers, and explanations.

• Maintain proper documentation and records for Income Tax, GST, Professional Tax, and other statutory compliances.

• Coordinate with banks for payments, fund transfers, and resolving banking-related issues.

• Ensure adherence to company accounting policies, internal controls, and timelines.

• Assist the Accounts Manager / Finance Head in any other accounting or taxation-related tasks as assigned.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Experience: 2-4 years of hands-on experience in Accounts & Taxation (preferably in a mid-size or growing company).

• Education: B.Com / M.Com / BBA (Finance) or equivalent. CA Inter / CMA Inter candidates will be preferred.

Technical Skills:

• Strong working knowledge of Tally ERP / Tally Prime (mandatory).

• Good understanding of GST, TDS, Income Tax provisions, and related compliances.

• Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic formulas) and MS Office.

• Familiarity with e-invoicing, e-way bill portal, and GST portal is highly desirable.

• Good communication and coordination skills with internal teams, vendors, and auditors.

• Strong sense of confidentiality and integrity.

• Preferred: Candidates with experience in manufacturing, trading, or service industry will have an added advantage. Immediate joiners preferred.
