Job Description – Commercial Officer / Sr Accounts Officer
Commercial Office ( Accounts ) required to oversee all cash-flow & corporate finance related matters of the Group and ensure that all resources are used beneficially. Responsibilities include managing all debtors & creditors ; managing payments & receivables to ensure cash flow efficiently and aligns with the business objectives.
Resposibilities
Manage and oversee the daily operations of order registration, invoicing, payment follow-ups, record maintenance, and inventory management.
Process vendor invoices, debit/credit notes, and employee reimbursements.
Verify purchase orders, GRNs, and invoice details for accuracy and approvals.
Schedule and process payments (NEFT/RTGS/cheque) while managing payment cycles.
Maintain vendor ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies.
Ensure GST input credit is properly recorded and reconciled.
Coordinate with internal departments and vendors for invoice clarifications.
Support statutory audits and internal compliance requirements.
If required negotiate contract terms and pricing.
Track deviation from set payment process.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Proficiency in MS Office, Tally & English Correspondence / Communication compulsory.
Postgraduate in accounts preferred with 5 years plus experience in accounting of manufacturing unit.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting process. Accuracy & attention to detail. Good understanding of GAAP.
• Proficiency in General Ledger accounting and month end / year end processes.
• Strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving mindset
• having expertise in Accounting & Tally.
