## ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT

📍 Location: Andheri West, Mumbai

💰 Salary: ₹18,000 – ₹30000 per month

💼 Experience: Minimum 2 years

### Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to support day-to-day accounting operations in a plastic packaging manufacturing and export business. The candidate should have practical knowledge of Tally, ledger maintenance, banking transactions and routine accounting activities.

### Key Responsibilities

- Maintain daily accounting transactions in Tally ERP / Tally Prime.

- Record purchase bills, sales invoices, payment vouchers, receipt vouchers and journal entries.

- Maintain supplier, customer and general ledger accounts.

- Handle bank entries, bank reconciliation and payment follow-ups.

- Verify purchase invoices, expense bills, debit notes, credit notes and supporting documents.

- Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records.

- Assist in tracking payments to raw material suppliers and collections from customers.

- Maintain records related to inventory purchases, packaging materials and other business expenses.

- Assist with GST entries, input tax credit records and GST return documentation.

- Support export-related invoicing, bank transaction records and documentation wherever applicable.

- Prepare basic accounting reports, outstanding statements and periodic account summaries.

- Coordinate with the accounts team to ensure accurate and timely financial records.

### Candidate Requirements

- Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience.

- Good working knowledge of Tally ERP / Tally Prime and MS Excel.

- Practical experience in ledger entries, banking activities and bank reconciliation.

- Knowledge of GST, purchase and sales accounting.

- Experience in a manufacturing, trading or export-oriented company will be preferred.

- Strong attention to detail, accuracy and record-keeping skills.
