Job Opening: Junior Accountant
Location: Salt Lake, Kolkata
Job Type: Full-time, Work from Office
Experience: 6 months–1 year
Key Responsibilities
Maintain day-to-day accounts in Tally Prime.
Record sales, purchases, receipts, payments and journal vouchers.
Prepare invoices and maintain supporting documents.
Perform bank reconciliation and petty-cash management.
Assist with GST, TDS and other statutory compliance.
Support payroll processing, including PF and ESIC records.
Maintain vendor, customer and outstanding-payment records.
Prepare basic MIS reports using Microsoft Excel.
Coordinate with the CA and management during audits and return filing.
Ensure proper filing and accuracy of all financial documents.
Candidate Requirements
B.Com, M.Com or equivalent qualification.
6 months–1 year of accounting experience.
Working knowledge of Tally Prime and Microsoft Excel.
Basic understanding of GST, TDS, PF and ESIC.
Good numerical ability and attention to detail.
Responsible, organised and able to maintain confidentiality.
Candidates residing near Salt Lake or nearby areas will be preferred.
Salary: Based on experience and practical knowledge
