Accountant

We are looking for an Accountant to join our team at Aasman Global Traders. The role involves managing financial transactions, preparing accurate reports, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. The position offers ₹18,000 - ₹25,000 and opportunities for professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Job Title: Import Accountant

Location: south extension part-2 , Near South extension metro, Delhi

Key Responsibilities:

- Handle complete accounting for import transactions

- Maintain purchase, sales, and import accounting entries

- Manage import documentation, bill of entry, and customs-related records

- Reconcile vendor accounts and import expenses

- Prepare and maintain GST records, returns, and reconciliations

- Handle TDS calculations, deductions, and return filing

- Maintain books of accounts in Tally / ERP

- Coordinate with CHA, freight forwarders, and suppliers

- Ensure compliance with accounting and tax regulations

Required Skills:

- Good knowledge of Import Accounting

- Strong understanding of GST

- Good working knowledge of TDS

- Knowledge of import documentation and customs process

- Proficiency in Tally, Excel, and accounting software

- Good communication and coordination skills

Job Requirements:

The minimum qualification for this role is below 10th and 6 months - 6+ years of experience. Additionally, candidates are required to have a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Additional certification (if any) is a plus. Applicants must have strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
