Account Manager

Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer Relationship Management

• Handle key OEM / Tier-1 customer accounts

• Act as single point of contact for all customer communication

• Maintain long-term relationships and ensure customer satisfaction

2. Order & Project Management

• Coordinate new product development (NPD) with customer and internal teams

• Ensure timely receipt of PO (Purchase Orders) and forecast planning

• Track order execution from tooling to production to dispatch

3. Coordination with Internal Departments

• Work closely with Production, Quality, Tool Room, Planning, and Dispatch

• Ensure adherence to delivery schedules and quality standards

• Follow up on customer complaints and ensure corrective actions

4. Commercial & Costing Activities

• Prepare and submit quotations (RFQ handling)

• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts

• Monitor contribution margin and cost control

5. Quality & Compliance

• Ensure customer requirements like PPAP, APQP, FMEA, Control Plan are met

• Handle customer audits and visits

• Monitor rejection levels and customer PPM

6. Business Development

• Identify new business opportunities from existing clients

• Support new customer acquisition

• Increase share of business with existing accounts

7. Reporting & MIS

• Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and account performance reports

• Monitor KPIs and present to management
