Account Executive

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Account Executive to manage day-to-day accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, and support financial reporting, reconciliations, and statutory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting entries, sales and purchase invoices, and expense records.

• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.

• Perform bank reconciliation, ledger scrutiny, and vendor/customer account reconciliation.

• Maintain GST records and assist with GST returns, TDS, and other statutory compliances.

• Prepare MIS reports and assist in monthly financial reporting.

• Maintain accurate documentation of vouchers, invoices, debit notes, and credit notes.

• Coordinate with internal departments, vendors, and customers regarding payment and account-related queries.

• Assist in month-end closing and audit-related activities.

• Ensure timely updating of accounting records in the ERP/accounting system.
  

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.

• Working knowledge of GST, TDS, invoicing, and bank reconciliation.

• Proficiency in MS Excel, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and basic data analysis.

• Experience with accounting software such as Tally, Ginesys, SAP, or similar ERP systems.

• Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines.

Eligibility Criteria

• 1–5 years of relevant experience in Accounts/Finance.

• B.Com or M.Com qualification preferred.

• Experience in retail, wholesale, or garment/apparel businesses will be an added advantage.

• Candidates should be comfortable handling routine accounting operations and preparing reports.
