Job Title: Field Support Engineer (Laptop Hardware)
Location: Wilson Garden, Bangalore
Employment Type: Full-Time
Experience: 1–5 Years.
About the Role:
We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled Field Support Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our technical support, visiting customer locations to diagnose and resolve hardware issues on Lenovo laptops under warranty. If you have a passion for hardware troubleshooting and enjoy working in the field, this is the perfect role for you.
Key Responsibilities:
Visit customer sites (homes/offices) in and around Bangalore to provide on-site support.
Diagnose and repair hardware issues on Lenovo laptops (under warranty).
Replace faulty hardware components such as:
Keyboards, Touchpads, and Palmrests
LCD Screens and Hinges
Motherboards, RAM, and Hard Drives/SSDs
Batteries, Chargers, and DC Jacks
Fans, Heat Sinks, and Covers
Ensure all repairs are completed within the defined SLA (Service Level Agreement).
Update service tickets and job sheets accurately on the internal portal.
Maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with customers.
Manage inventory of spare parts and ensure proper handling of tools.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Technical: Strong knowledge of laptop hardware architecture and disassembly/reassembly.
Specific Experience: Experience handling Lenovo hardware is a strong plus.
Soft Skills: Good communication skills in English, Hindi, and Kannada (local language is mandatory for Bangalore field work).
Logistics: Must be willing to travel extensively within Bangalore (Wilson Garden and surrounding areas).
Salary and Benefits
Salary Range: ₹20,000 - ₹25,000 per month.
