IT Hardware Engineer

🛠️ Job Responsibilities:

• Computer hardware installation & troubleshooting

• Maintain desktops, laptops, printers & IT peripherals

• LAN/WAN network setup & support

• Router, switch, WiFi installation & configuration

• Troubleshoot network issues (slow speed, downtime, IP conflict)

• OS installation (Windows/MAC / Linux) & software support

• Basic server & email configuration support

• Data backup, antivirus updates & security monitoring

• Provide IT support to staff & maintain IT asset records

Requirements:

• Minimum 1+ year experience in hardware & networking

• Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS

• Ability to repair/replace hardware components

• Router/switch configuration experience

• Diploma/Degree in IT/Computer Science preferred

• Certification (CCNA / A+ / N+) is an added advantage

• Design and deploy network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems

• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues

• Configure and maintain LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks

• Implement network security measures and access controls

• Perform system upgrades, patches, and firmware updates

• Collaborate with IT teams to support servers, cloud services, and cybersecurity initiatives

• Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and procedures

• Ensure network availability, scalability, and disaster recovery readiness

• Analyze traffic and optimize network performance

• Support users and resolve escalated technical issues

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

• Experience with networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, and VLANs

• Knowledge of Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, or similar networking technologies

• Familiarity with firewalls, VPNs, and network security practices

• Understanding of cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

In a month 2 Sunday holiday

Salary Rs 20,000-25,000 in hand
