We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented IT Hardware Engineer to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and support computer hardware, networking devices, and IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of desktops, laptops, printers, servers, and network equipment, ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations.
Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, scanners, and peripheral devices.
Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
Perform system upgrades, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
Configure and troubleshoot LAN/WAN networks, routers, switches, and Wi-Fi devices.
Install and support operating systems, drivers, and application software.
Monitor IT assets and maintain hardware inventory records.
Provide technical support to end-users and resolve IT-related queries.
Ensure data backup, system security, and antivirus protection.
Coordinate with vendors for hardware procurement, warranty claims, and repairs.
Document technical procedures and maintenance activities.
Requirements
Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field.
1–3 years of experience in IT hardware and networking support.
Knowledge of Windows operating systems, hardware troubleshooting, and networking fundamentals.
Familiarity with printers, servers, CCTV systems, and access control systems is an advantage.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
