Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Engineer to manage and maintain IT infrastructure, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure smooth network operations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Windows and Mac operating systems, networking, and end-user support.

Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and network devices.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, operating system, and connectivity issues.
Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN networks.
Install, configure, and update Windows and Mac operating systems, antivirus software, and security tools.
Provide technical support and resolve IT-related issues for end users.
Perform network cable crimping, punching, and basic structured cabling tasks.
Configure and troubleshoot network switches and assist with firewall management.
Support and troubleshoot L2 (Level 2) technical issues.
Maintain IT asset inventory, documentation, and system records.
Ensure timely resolution of incidents while maintaining service quality.

Requirements

Graduate with 2–4 years of relevant Desktop Support experience.
Strong knowledge of Windows OS and Mac OS installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Hands-on experience in hardware troubleshooting for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
Good understanding of networking concepts, including LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing basics.
Practical knowledge of network cable crimping, punching, structured cabling, switches, and firewall concepts.
Experience using network diagnostic and troubleshooting tools.
Ability to handle L2-level desktop and network support independently.
Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
