Laptop Chip-Level Technician
Company: Sriram Laptops And Mobiles Service Center
We are looking for an experienced Laptop Chip-Level Technician / Laptop Motherboard Repair Technician to join our service team. The candidate should have strong hands-on experience in diagnosing and repairing laptop motherboard and hardware-level issues.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair laptop motherboard and chip-level faults
Troubleshoot No Power, No Display, Charging, Short Circuit and Booting issues
Perform component-level repairs on laptop motherboards
Work with ICs, MOSFETs, capacitors, diodes and other SMD components
Perform BIOS programming and related troubleshooting
Handle DC jack, charging circuit and power section repairs
Use multimeter, DC power supply, hot air station, soldering station and microscope
Read and understand motherboard schematics and boardviews
Diagnose water-damaged and short-circuit motherboards
Maintain proper quality and testing standards after repair
Coordinate with the service team and provide technical support when required
Requirements
2–6+ years of hands-on experience in laptop chip-level/motherboard repair
Strong practical knowledge of laptop motherboard troubleshooting
Good soldering and SMD component replacement skills
Knowledge of schematics and boardview is preferred
Ability to independently diagnose and repair complex motherboard issues
IT networking experience is not required
Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹70,000 per month, based on experience and technical skill.
Location: Sriram Laptops And Mobiles Service Center
Preferred Candidates: Candidates with strong practical chip-level laptop repair experience will be given priority.
