About the Role
SKIPS University is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to create engaging visual content for digital and print media. The candidate will be responsible for designing marketing materials, social media creatives, admission campaigns, event graphics, and branding materials while maintaining the university's visual identity.
Key Responsibilities
- Design brochures, flyers, posters, banners, standees, invitations, and other promotional materials.
- Create engaging social media posts, digital advertisements, and admission campaign creatives.
- Develop branding materials for university events, seminars, workshops, and academic activities.
- Design presentations, certificates, newsletters, and other institutional communication materials.
- Maintain consistency in brand identity, colours, typography, and visual communication.
- Coordinate with the Marketing, Admissions, HR, and Administration teams.
- Prepare print-ready artwork and coordinate with printing vendors.
- Edit and enhance images, photographs, and other visual assets.
- Manage multiple design projects and ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain organised design files, templates, and creative assets.
Required Skills and Software Knowledge
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
- Knowledge of CorelDRAW and Canva.
- Understanding of typography, colour theory, layout, composition, and visual hierarchy.
- Knowledge of digital and print design requirements.
- Strong creativity, attention to detail, and visualisation skills.
- Good communication, coordination, and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Quality, creativity, and originality of designs.
- Timely completion of design assignments.
- Consistency with university branding guidelines.
- Accuracy of print-ready artwork and promotional materials.
- Effectiveness of marketing and social media creatives.
- Coordination with internal teams and external vendors.
