JOB DESCRIPTION – HEAD OF SALES
Position Title: Head of Sales – Pan India
Location: Delhi NCR / Pan India
Reporting To: Managing Director / CEO
Employment Type: Full Time
Role Objective
The Head of Sales will be responsible for building and leading a disciplined, performance-driven sales organization to achieve sustained revenue growth, improve collection efficiency, and strengthen Techno’s dealer network across India.
Key Responsibilities
1. Own monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and ensure minimum 90% achievement consistency.
2. Implement and enforce Techno’s sales governance framework including targets, dashboards, incentives, and SOPs.
3. Lead, monitor, and correct sales team performance using RAG-based weekly reviews.
4. Drive dealer network expansion, activation, and productivity improvement.
5. Ensure strict credit discipline and alignment with finance on collections.
6. Develop sales team capability and succession pipeline.
7. Prepare and present weekly and monthly performance reports to management.
8. Coordinate with Marketing, Operations, and Finance for demand generation and fulfilment.
Candidate Profile
• 10–15 years of B2B sales experience, with minimum 5 years in a leadership role.
• Experience managing pan-India or multi-region sales teams.
• Exposure to distribution-led businesses such as musical instruments, consumer electronics, or lifestyle products.
• Strong understanding of dealer management, credit control, and sales analytics.
Qualification
• Graduate (mandatory).
• MBA in Sales / Marketing preferred.
• Comfortable with ERP / CRM-based sales systems.
Compensation & Benefits
• Fixed Salary: ₹12–15 LPA
