Role Overview:
Responsible for generating new business, managing client relationships, and promoting CHA & Freight Forwarding services while meeting assigned revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and develop business in import/export, customs clearance & freight forwarding.
Generate leads through calls, visits & networking; maintain a strong pipeline.
Meet clients, understand requirements, present solutions & share quotations.
Prepare pricing, negotiate rates & coordinate with operations/documentation teams.
Manage customer relationships, resolve queries & ensure smooth shipment execution.
Maintain sales MIS, reports & track target achievements.
Skills Required:
Knowledge of CHA processes, customs documentation, ocean/air freight & logistics costing.
Strong communication, negotiation & presentation skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel, CRM & quotation preparation.
Qualification:
Graduate / MBA (Marketing, Logistics, Supply Chain preferred)
Industry Experience: Freight Forwarding / Logistics / CHA (3- 7 years)
