Sales Executive

Job Title: Sales Executive – TMT Bars / Steel Products

Experience Required: 1–5 years (preferably in steel or construction material sales)

Reporting To: Sales Manager / Regional Head

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive to promote and sell TMT bars and steel products to clients in the construction sector. The ideal candidate will have strong sales skills, a good understanding of the building materials market, and the ability to build long-term relationships with contractors, builders, dealers, and infrastructure companies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and develop new business opportunities with builders, contractors, dealers, infrastructure companies, and other potential customers.

• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for TMT bars and steel products.

• Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and ensure repeat business.

• Conduct market visits to generate leads, monitor competitor activities, and collect market intelligence.

• Negotiate pricing, credit terms, and delivery schedules within company policies.

• Coordinate with the logistics and dispatch teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.

• Provide after-sales support and handle customer queries and complaints effectively.

• Maintain proper records of sales calls, quotations, orders, and customer interactions.

• Participate in trade exhibitions, promotional events, and site visits to enhance product visibility.

• Prepare and submit regular sales reports to management.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

• 1–5 years of experience in sales of TMT bars, steel products (preferred).

• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

• Good understanding of construction industry channels and local market dynamics.

• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.

• Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work independently.

• Willingness to travel extensively.
