Job Summary

Responsible for driving life insurance sales through the direct channel by generating business from prospective customers, managing customer relationships, achieving assigned sales targets, and ensuring a high standard of customer service. Focus on lead conversion, policy issuance, and business growth while adhering to company policies and regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive life insurance sales through the direct sales channel to achieve monthly and annual business targets.

• Generate and convert leads through customer calls, digital leads, referrals, and other direct sales initiatives.

• Identify customer needs and recommend suitable life insurance products, including protection, savings, retirement, and investment-linked plans.

• Manage the complete sales cycle, from lead generation and customer engagement to application submission and policy issuance.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing customers to improve customer satisfaction and retention.

• Follow up on leads and prospects to maximize conversion rates and business productivity.

• Explain product features, premium structures, policy benefits, terms, and conditions to customers.

• Ensure accurate documentation, application processing, and timely policy issuance.

• Monitor sales performance, maintain daily activity reports, and achieve assigned KPIs.

• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve customer queries, support policy issuance, and ensure smooth business operations.

• Ensure compliance with IRDAI regulations, company policies, and ethical sales practices.

• Support business development initiatives and contribute to the overall growth of the direct sales channel.
