Job Description: Sales Executive (Lifts & Elevators)

Qualification: Graduate in any discipline (B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical, or BBA/B.Com/MBA preferred)

Role Summary
The Sales Executive will promote and sell City Lift India’s range of passenger lifts, freight lifts, escalators, hospital lifts, and related products and services. The role covers generating enquiries, meeting clients, preparing quotations, and closing orders in the Pune market and surrounding region.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and approach prospective customers: builders, developers, architects, consultants, housing societies, commercial establishments, hospitals, hotels, and institutions.

• Follow up on leads and enquiries, and convert them into confirmed orders.

• Conduct client visits and site surveys, and understand the requirements (building type, number of floors, load capacity, speed, traffic).

• Explain product features, specifications, and technical options (gearless/geared, MRL, passenger, goods, hospital, etc.) to customers.

• Prepare and submit quotations and proposals in coordination with the technical and design teams.

• Negotiate commercial terms, and follow up on payments and order documentation.

• Build relationships with architects, consultants, and builders to get specified into upcoming projects.

• Coordinate with the project, installation, and service teams for smooth handover after order confirmation.

• Track competitor products, pricing, and market trends in the region.

• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.

• Maintain accurate records of leads, visits, and pipeline in the CRM or MIS, and submit regular sales reports.

• Support AMC (annual maintenance contract) and modernisation sales to existing customers.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Basic knowledge of lift and elevator products, components, and industry terminology.

• Understanding of building codes and standards relevant to lifts (e.g., NBC, Maharashtra Lifts Act and Rules) is an advantage.

• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills in English and Hindi; Marathi is an added advantage.

• Ability to read basic architectural drawings and shaft/pit details.

• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and email.

• Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable with field work and travel.

Eligibility

• Graduate with 1–2 years of sales experience, preferably in lifts, elevators, escalators, or building/construction products.

• Own conveyance and a valid driving licence preferred.

• Based in or willing to work from Pune.

• It is a Full Time Field Sales job for candidates with 1 - 2 years of experience.
