Job Description -Bank officer
Acquire CASA (Current Account Savings Account) and liabilities accounts through cold calling, market references, cross-selling, and selling third-party products such as life and health insurance, mutual funds SIPs.
Implement sales and marketing activities within the branch to grow the liabilities business and achieve sales targets.
Develop new customer relationships and leverage existing ones to meet liability acquisition targets.
Acquire new customers through multiple channels including local campaigns, branch walk-ins, referrals from existing customers, industry bodies, associations, and industry events.
Achieve overall numbers and value targets as per the scorecard.
Ensure timely opening of accounts and provide a smooth onboarding experience for new-to-bank (NTB) customers.
Comply with KYC (Know Your Customer) and AML (Anti-Money Laundering) guidelines as per bank policies and regulatory requirements.
Maintain confidentiality and security of the bank’s information; avoid disclosure of any third-party information in any form (verbal, written, soft copy, email, etc.).
Requirements:
Understanding of KYC and AML guidelines and ability to comply with the bank’s policies and regulatory requirements.
Strong sales and marketing skills with experience or willingness to work in customer acquisition and cross-selling financial products.
Ability to develop and maintain customer relationships through multiple channels.
Good communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers and industry bodies.
Ability to manage targets and deliver results consistently.
Knowledge of banking products like CASA, insurance, mutual funds, and liabilities products is preferred.
