Job Title: Medical Representative (MR)

Job Summary:

A Medical Representative promotes and sells pharmaceutical or medical products to healthcare professionals such as doctors, pharmacists, and hospitals. The role involves creating awareness, answering queries, providing product samples, and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:       

Product Promotion:

·         Promote company’s pharmaceutical products to doctors and healthcare professionals.

·         Explain the product benefits, dosage, side effects, and usage to gain prescriptions.

Sales & Target Achievement:

·         Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.

·         Develop and maintain relationships with clients to increase sales.

Market Development:

·         Identify new customers and opportunities in the assigned territory.

·         Conduct market research and analyze competitor activities.

Product Knowledge:

·         Stay updated with medical and pharmaceutical knowledge.

·         Attend company meetings, training sessions, and medical conferences.

Reporting:

·         Prepare daily/weekly call reports and expense reports.

·         Provide feedback on market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.

Skills Required:

·         Strong communication and interpersonal skills

·         Ability to influence and negotiate

·         Good presentation and persuasion skills

·         Willingness to travel extensively

·         Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, CRM tools)

Qualifications:

·         Graduate in Science, Pharmacy, or related field (preferred)

·         Experience in medical/pharmaceutical sales is an added advantage

·         Freshers with the right attitude and communication skills are also considered

Work Environment:

·         Field-based job with daily visits to clinics, hospitals, and pharmacies

·         Travel within assigned territory

·         Interaction with medical professionals and internal teams
