We are looking for a Sales Executive to join our team LEEWAY SOFT-TECH PVT LTD. The role requires candidates who are skilled in building customer relationships, following up on leads, and maximizing sales opportunities. Identify prospects and develop sales strategies to drive business growth.
Key responsibilities
Generate and qualify leads: Identify new sales opportunities through market research, cold calling, and networking.
Serve as a technical subject matter expert: Maintain deep product knowledge and stay current on industry trends to effectively articulate the value of complex IT solutions.
Understand client needs: Conduct in-depth discovery meetings with both executive and technical stakeholders to fully grasp their business challenges and technical requirements.
Create and deliver compelling presentations: Provide customized product demonstrations and solution presentations that directly address the client's pain points.
Develop tailored solutions: Collaborate with technical and engineering teams to design and present solutions that align with the client's business goals.
Navigate the sales process: Manage the entire sales cycle, including responding to technical questions, crafting proposals (RFPs), and negotiating contracts to close deals.
Build and maintain client relationships: Act as a liaison between the client and internal teams to ensure a smooth implementation and ongoing customer satisfaction, fostering long-term partnerships and expansion.
Achieve sales targets: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales quotas and performance KPIs.
Maintain sales records: Accurately forecast sales and maintain detailed records of activities and pipeline status in a CRM system (e.g., Salesforce).
Required skills and qualifications
Technical background: A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is often preferred.
IT expertise: Strong understanding of relevant IT products and services, such as:
Software: SaaS, enterprise applications (CRM, ERP), or industry-specific software.
Cloud: Cloud computing concepts and major platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Hardware/infrastructure: Servers, networking, data centers, or cybersecurity systems.
Proven sales experience: A track record of success in technology sales, particularly with complex or long sales cycles.
Strong communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts simply to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Presentation skills: Ability to conduct confident and persuasive product presentations and demonstrations.
Consultative selling: Adept at listening to customer problems and translating needs into effective sales strategies.
Negotiation skills: Confidence in negotiating pricing and contract terms.
CRM proficiency: Experience using CRM software like Salesforce or HubSpot to track and manage sales activities.
Self-motivated: A results-driven attitude with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
