The Field Sales Executive will be responsible for driving sales and creating awareness of insurance products across various channels. The role involves meeting potential customers, explaining the benefits of Policybazaar’s offerings, and closing sales to achieve targets. You will be representing Policybazaar in the field and establishing a strong customer base.
Sales Generation: Identify and target potential customers (individuals, families, businesses) to generate new leads for insurance products (life, health, and other policies).
Customer Engagement: Engage with prospective customers through door-to-door visits, events, or appointments to understand their insurance needs and offer suitable policies.
Product Demonstration: Provide clear and concise information about various policies available via Policybazaar, explaining coverage, premiums, and benefits.
Lead Conversion: Convert leads into successful policy sales by following up and addressing customer queries, objections, and concerns.
Relationship Building: Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers by offering consistent support and personalized recommendations.
Market Analysis: Regularly research competitors and market trends to stay informed about pricing, customer preferences, and product offerings.
Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and feedback. Submit daily/weekly reports to supervisors or managers.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with other field sales executives, managers, and support teams to share insights and improve sales performance.
Achieving Targets: Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and performance goals set by the company.
Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in field sales, insurance sales, or direct sales (preferred).
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex products in a simple manner.
Customer-Oriented: Excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships with customers and offer a high level of customer satisfaction.
Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively to achieve sales targets.
Problem-Solving: Ability to handle objections and rejections while maintaining a positive attitude.
Knowledge of Insurance: A basic understanding of insurance products or the willingness to learn about different insurance policies (health, life, etc.).
Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in using smartphones, CRM tools, and basic MS Office tools for reporting and communication.
Field Experience: Comfortable working in the field and meeting clients face-to-face.
Location: Willingness to travel across assigned regions within the city.
Education: Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent (Graduate or Postgraduate preferred).
Language: Fluent in the local language(s); English is a plus.
