Company Overview: PayGlocal is a leading provider of multi-currency accounts designed to streamline payment processes for merchants on Amazon Global Selling marketplaces. We are committed to helping merchants save on foreign exchange and transaction costs while providing a seamless payment experience. Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven On-Ground Sales Trainee to join our team. This role will involve identifying, connecting with, and converting potential Amazon Global Selling merchants to use PayGlocal’s multi-currency account product. The ideal candidate will have prior sales experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to build relationships with merchants in their cluster. Key Responsibilities: 1. Identify and Prospect: o Identify potential Amazon Global Selling merchants who would benefit from PayGlocal’s multicurrency account services from database calling and on-ground visits. 2. Engage and Convert: o Reach out to potential clients through cold calls, emails, and in-person meetings. o Present and demonstrate the value of PayGlocal’s multi-currency accounts to prospects o Help merchants with the onboarding and documentation process either automated or manual 3. Client Meetings: o Conduct face-to-face meetings with merchants to discuss their payment needs and how PayGlocal can address them. o Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through follow-ups and meetings. 4. Sales Reporting: o Maintain accurate records of sales activities, leads, and client interactions. o Provide regular reports on sales progress, conversion rates, and market feedback to the Sales Manager. 5. Continuous Follow-Up: o Follow up consistently with prospects and clients throughout the sales cycle to ensure closure and address any ongoing needs or issues. o Ensure a smooth transition from prospect to customer, working closely with the onboard o Ensure a smooth transition from prospect to customer, working closely with the onboarding team to facilitate successful account setup. Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of sales experience, good communication skills and local expertise. Experience with Amazon merchants or the Amazon Global Selling marketplace is a plus. Skills: o Strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships. o Strong negotiation and persuasion skills with a focus on achieving sales targets. o Proficient in using CRM software and sales reporting tools. Education: Bachelor’s degree/Diploma Other: Willingness to travel for client meetings as required. Avalid driver’s license is preferred
