Field Sales Executive
Reporting To
Sales Manager / Business Head
Job Purpose
To generate new business opportunities, meet customers, promote
products and services, secure orders, and achieve monthly sales targets while maintaining
strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
● Identify and approach potential customers in assigned territories.
● Conduct daily customer visits and sales meetings.
● Generate enquiries and convert them into orders.
● Present company products, solutions, and capabilities to customers.
● Follow up on quotations and negotiate commercial terms.
● Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
Customer Relationship Management
● Build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
● Address customer concerns and coordinate with internal teams for resolution.
● Ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Market Intelligence
● Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
● Identify new market opportunities and customer segments.
● Provide regular market feedback to management.
Reporting & Documentation
● Submit Daily Sales Reports (DSR).
● Update CRM or sales tracking sheets.
● Maintain records of customer visits, enquiries, quotations, and orders.
● Submit weekly pipeline and monthly forecast reports.
Collection Support
● Coordinate with customers for timely payments.
● Follow up on outstanding receivables.
● Ensure adherence to company credit policies.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
● Number of customer visits per day (Minimum 5–6). Mix of visits to consultants,
contractors, and system integrators.
● New customer acquisition.
● Monthly sales revenue achieved.
● Quotation-to-order conversion ratio.
● Collection efficiency.
● Customer retention rate.
Qualification
● Any Graduate / Diploma.
● 1–5 years of field sales experience.
● Experience in Industrial Products, HVAC
or Corporate Sales preferred.
Skills Required
● Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
● Strong relationship-building ability.
● Self-motivated and target oriented.
● Basic knowledge of MS Excel and reporting.
● Ability to travel extensively.
