
Role Overview
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth and brand visibility by engaging with potential customers and stakeholders, particularly in medical colleges within the assigned territory. This role requires strong sales acumen, market awareness, and the ability to build relationships to meet or exceed targets. The ideal candidate is proactive, self-motivated, and capable of working independently while contributing to the broader goals of the sales team.
Responsibilities and Duties:
• Oversee day-to-day sales operations, including monitoring and forecasting to better understand
market trends and opportunities.
• Continuously evaluate and refine marketing strategies to improve their effectiveness in driving sales.
• Visit medical colleges within the assigned location to promote products and build partnerships.
• Stay up to date with current market dynamics and competitor activities.
• Take full ownership of achieving or surpassing assigned sales targets.
• Provide regular performance reports and market insights to Area Heads or senior management.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• 3 to 6 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in the education or medical
sector.
• Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Must possess a personal laptop and a two-wheeler/four-wheeler for travel.
• Willingness to travel extensively and work independently.
• High level of motivation, integrity, and a results-driven approach.
