KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Development & B2B Sales: Identify, pitch to, and secure new business opportunities across industrial bakeries, commercial bakery chains, HoReCa (Hotels, Restaurants, Cafés), and distributor networks.
Technical Product Demonstrations: Conduct live, hands-on baking trials and product demonstrations. Leverage strong demonstration powers to show clients exactly how bakery additives improve dough stability, texture, shelf-life, yield, and overall quality. Client Consultation & Problem Solving: Understand clients’ specific production challenges (e.g., crumb structure, volume, spoilage) and recommend the exact additive formulation to solve their issues.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with Key Accounts, Executive Chefs, Production Managers, and Purchase Heads.
Market Intelligence: Gather feedback from live trials to understand market trends, competitor pricing, and evolving customer needs, reporting back to internal R&D and product teams.
Sales Targets: Meet and exceed regional sales and volume targets for the bakery additives portfolio.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Experience: 1 to 5 years of experience in B2B sales, technical sales, or application specialist roles within the bakery, food ingredients, or bakery additives industry. Education: A completed Diploma in Bakery Technology, Food Science/Technology, Culinary Arts, or Hotel Management with a specialized focus on baking.
Core Technical Skills & Demonstration Powers: Must be highly proficient in baking processes. Ability to confidently bake breads, cakes, pastries, and biscuits, and use live culinary demonstrations as a strategic tool to prove the functional science behind additives (emulsifiers, enzymes, preservatives).
Commercial Drive: Proven track record of generating leads, handling client negotiations, and closing highvalue B2B deals.
Communication: Excellent presentation skills with the ability to confidently 'talk science' to technical production managers and 'talk business' to business owners.
