Business Development Manager (BDM)

The Role

We are looking for a high-calibre Business Development Manager who understands how architects think, how premium products are specified and how long-term projects are converted.

This is a field-facing, relationship-driven, target-oriented role with strong growth potential.

What You Will Do

Build and grow relationships with:

o

Architects & Interior Designers

o

Developers & Project Consultants

o

Purchase teams, Chief Engineers & Maintenance heads

Drive specifications and conversions for premium architectural surface solutions

Actively engage across project segments: Corporate | Hospitality | Education | Healthcare | Retail | Residential | Infrastructure

Conduct design-led product presentations and solution discussions

Track leads, opportunities and follow-ups using CRM tools

Coordinate internally for proposals, sampling, mock-ups and execution support

Achieve defined monthly and quarterly sales targets

Who This Role Is For

This role is ideal for someone who:

Enjoys meeting people, building influence and closing projects

Understands the architect–designer–client ecosystem

Is comfortable selling premium, value-driven products (not price-led selling)

Wants to grow into a senior business / key-account role

Experience & Background

• Minimum 6 years of experience in

• Sales of building / architectural products OR

• Junior Interior Designer / Design Coordinator transitioning into business development

• Exposure to products such as: Surfaces, Wall finishes, Panels, Flooring, Ceilings, Facades, Films, Lighting, or allied categories

Skills That Matter

Strong communication and client-handling skills

Confidence in presenting to architects and senior stakeholders

Commercial awareness and negotiation ability

Self-driven, disciplined and target-focused

Good time management and follow-through

Ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams

Own two-wheeler or car is mandatory
