Business Development Sales Executive – Curtains, Blinds & Wallpaper

Taksh Door is a leading provider of premium interior décor solutions—specialising in high-quality curtains, blinds and designer wallpapers. We cater to residential, commercial and hospitality segments, offering both product supply and installation services. We are seeking a dynamic Field Sales Executive to expand our market presence, build relationships and drive sales growth in the region.
The Field Sales Executive will be responsible for generating leads, meeting prospective clients (interior designers, architects, builders, showrooms, end-customers), presenting our product range (curtains, blinds, wallpapers), closing deals and achieving sales targets. The role involves territory management, customer relationship building, post-sales follow-up and coordination with internal teams (installation, service, logistics) to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Identify and develop new business opportunities in the assigned territory (residential projects, offices, showrooms, builders).
Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients (interior designers, architects, retail outlets, contractors) and drive repeat sales.
Present our product portfolio (curtains, blinds, wallpapers), demonstrate features, benefits, options, and cost/installation advantages.
Understand client needs, offer suitable solutions (design, fabric/material choice, customisation) and provide quotations.
Negotiate terms and close sales to meet or exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets.
Coordinate with internal teams—product, installation, logistics—to ensure timely delivery and installation, and escalate issues if any.
Conduct regular visits to clients, showrooms, project sites; maintain beat or territory plan.
Maintain accurate records of leads, client interactions, sales funnel, orders and follow-ups in CRM or sales tracking system.
Monitor market and competitor activity in the region (pricing, product innovations, market trends) and report insights.
Provide excellent after-sales service: ensure customer satisfaction, manage complaints, drive referrals and repeat business.
Participate in promotional activities, product launches, showroom events, interior-designer collaborations.
Manage own daily/weekly/monthly visit plan in an efficient route to maximise productivity.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
Proven sales experience (1-3 years or more) in field sales, ideally in interior décor, home furnishings.
Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Must be target-driven, self-motivated, comfortable working in the field and travelling within territory.
Ability to understand product/materials (curtains, blinds, wallpapers), and discuss design, functionality, installation details, finishes and after-sales.
Good local geography knowledge of Gurugram / Haryana and neighbouring areas is an advantage.
Two-wheeler / vehicle and valid driver’s licence may be required (depending on territory).
Good attitude, customer-first mindset, professional appearance and ability to represent the brand positively.
Flexibility to work outside strict office hours (client visits, site visits) when required.
Achieving or exceeding monthly/quarterly sales revenue targets.
Number of new client accounts acquired.
Rate of conversion from lead to customer.
Repeat order ratio and customer satisfaction/feedback.
Timely submission of visit reports, CRM updates, order follow-ups.
Market intelligence contribution (competitor monitoring, trend reporting).
