Role Overview
The Field Sales/Business Development Executive will identify and engage
decision-makers across diverse industries, secure client meetings, maintain
relationships, and drive new business for TransCat PSPL. The role involves data
management, client interactions in person and virtually, participation in
workshops/events, and supporting vendor registration and product sales.
Key Responsibilities
1. Market Intelligence & Database Expansion
Continuously update and grow the database of key decision-makers (L&D, HR,
Finance, Production, Marketing, Sales, After-sales, Customer Service, Admin, C-
suite, etc.) in target companies.
Map contacts industry-wise and by industrial region, with a geographic focus
on Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and
Delhi NCR.
2. Client Outreach & Meetings
Arrange appointments and meet potential clients via telephone, email,
LinkedIn (social media), direct visits, and virtual sessions, independently or with
seniors.
Ensure regular, proactive client engagement, with special focus on the
Bangalore market.
3. CRM Management
Maintain accurate and complete records in Zoho Bigin of client details, sales
cycle activities, meeting minutes, and required documentation.
Ensure all updates follow company-provided templates and attend CRM
training as scheduled.
4. Event Promotion & Client Acquisition
Source nominations for open workshops, seminars, and marketing events
through digital platforms, calls, and field visits.
Promote TransCat PSPL’s management and leadership certifications.

5. Vendor Registration Facilitation
Support vendor registration processes for new clients by coordinating with
purchase, admin, and HR heads and by providing all relevant company
documentation.
6. Product Sales
Drive sales of psychometric assessment tools, with training and attractive
commission provided.
Qualifications & Skills
Graduation/post-graduation in Management degree preferred. However,
those who have experience in HR services can be considered.
Fluent English (written and verbal) with a professional, client-facing manner.
Proficiency in MS Office, CRM software, and presentation platforms.
Active on social media for professional networking and outreach.
Excellent client service focus, interpersonal skills, and convincing ability.
Team player, adaptable to diverse client profiles and market scenarios.
Experience
2–5 years of experience in field sales, business development, or direct sales (B2B
or B2C).
Compensation & Facilities
Salary: ₹25,000–₹50,000/month, plus incentives based on performance.
Office-based role in J. P. Nagar 7th Phase, Bangalore.
Facilities: Company email ID, CRM access, conveyance, SIM card provided.
Preferred Experience and Advantage
Candidates who have prior experience in Business Development or Sales with:
Educational/Human Resources products,
Recruitment services, and/or
Psychometric assessment tools or any B2B or B2C experience, will have a
distinct advantage. Such experience demonstrates familiarity with client
engagement in these sectors, understanding client needs in learning and
development, talent acquisition, and human resource domains, and the ability
to effectively position specialized products and services within organizational
decision-makers.
