The Area Sales Manager (ASM) for the DSA (Direct Sales Agent) Channel will be responsible for driving home loan sales through a network of direct sales agents. This role involves recruiting, training, and managing DSA partners, generating business leads, ensuring smooth loan processing, and achieving sales targets. The ASM will work closely with both the internal sales team and external DSA partners to grow the business and meet organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Target Achievement:
Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual home loan sales targets by effectively managing the DSA channel.
Ensure that DSAs meet their targets by providing them with necessary support and resources.
DSA Recruitment & Onboarding:
Recruit and onboard new DSA partners to expand the sales network.
Conduct training sessions to onboard and continuously educate DSA agents about home loan products, processes, and compliance standards.
DSA Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with DSA agents to encourage consistent business.
Regularly engage with DSAs to understand their challenges, provide solutions, and ensure smooth processing of home loan applications.
Lead Generation & Conversion:
Collaborate with DSAs to generate leads and drive conversions of prospects into home loan customers.
Monitor the DSA agents' lead generation efforts, ensure quality control, and help close high-value deals.
Market Analysis & Strategy:
Analyze the performance of DSAs in the region and provide guidance to improve sales outcomes.
Implement strategies to boost market penetration for home loans and identify opportunities for growth.
Sales Performance Monitoring:
Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance of DSA agents.
Provide regular performance feedback and set action plans to address performance gaps.
Compliance & Risk Management:
Ensure that all home loan applications processed by DSAs are compliant with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Identify and mitigate risks related to DSA activities, loan documentation, and customer interactions.
Collaboration with Internal Teams:
Work closely with internal teams (Credit, Operations) to ensure smooth processing of loan applications from DSA leads.
Reporting & Documentation:
Provide regular updates to the senior management on DSA performance, sales achievements, challenges, and market trends.
Ensure accurate reporting of all sales activities and pipeline data.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
Experience: 5 years of experience in sales in home loans or financial services. Prior experience with managing team and working with DSA agents is required.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
Sales Expertise: Strong sales skills and a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets, especially in financial products like home loans.
DSA Management: Experience in managing and motivating DSA agents or channel partners.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to build relationships with DSA agents and customers.
Product Knowledge: Deep understanding of home loan products, processes, documentation, and industry regulations.
