About the Role
Techno Music India Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Area Sales Manager (ASM) to lead sales expansion, dealer network development, and market growth across West Bengal. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership abilities, extensive experience in channel sales, and a passion for musical instruments and audio products.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve territory-wise revenue targets.
Appoint, manage, and expand dealer/distributor networks across West Bengal.
Identify new business opportunities and drive market penetration.
Lead dealer acquisition, onboarding, and relationship management initiatives.
Conduct regular market visits to support dealers and strengthen business partnerships.
Monitor sales performance, inventory movement, and dealer productivity.
Ensure proper implementation of branding, merchandising, and promotional activities at retail outlets.
Train dealers and retail staff on product features, benefits, and sales techniques.
Coordinate with internal teams for order processing, logistics, and customer support.
Analyze competitor activities, pricing, and market trends to recommend growth strategies.
Prepare and submit weekly and monthly sales reports, forecasts, and market feedback.
Achieve collection targets and maintain healthy dealer accounts.
Qualifications & Skills
MBA in Marketing or Sales (Mandatory).
5–8 years of experience in channel sales, dealer management, or business development.
Experience in consumer electronics, musical instruments, audio products, or related industries preferred.
Strong leadership, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM/reporting tools.
Fluency in English, Hindi, and Bengali preferred.
Requirements
Own laptop (Mandatory).
Smartphone for reporting and communication.
Willingness to travel extensively across West Bengal.
Two-wheeler or valid driving license preferred.
