Job Title: Tailoring & Dressmaking Trainer / Teacher

Job Type: Full-Time
Work Days: Saturday & Sunday working (1 Weekday Off)
Working Hours: 8 Hours per day
Salary Range: ₹15,000 – ₹25,000 per month (based on experience & expertise)
Travel Allowance: Additional / As per company policy

About the Role

We are conducting tailoring & dressmaking workshops across different locations for students, self-help groups, women empowerment groups, and communities. We are looking for a passionate and experienced Trainer/Teacher who can train participants in stitching, drafting, pattern making, and garment construction.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct classroom & on-field workshops on tailoring, garment construction & pattern drafting for different age groups.

• Teach students various stitching techniques, measurements, drafting, cutting, and finishing methods.

• Prepare training materials, lesson plans, practice assignments & assessments for trainees.

• Demonstrate practical sewing, drafting & pattern-making techniques clearly and effectively.

• Guide students in hands-on practice to ensure skill development and completion of garments.

• Maintain training discipline, participation, and evaluation of student progress.

• Provide support and mentorship to learners for career/self-employment opportunities in tailoring.

  • Ladies Blouses: Multiple styles

Desired Candidate Profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience as Tailoring / Fashion / Garment Trainer or Teacher.

• Strong expertise in cutting, drafting, pattern making & stitching for ladies, kids & basic gents wear.

• Ability to handle batch training confidently and communicate clearly.

• Passionate about training, women empowerment & skill development.

• Candidates with experience in NGO, Skill Development, SHG Training, Fashion Institutes preferred.

• Comfortable travelling to different workshop locations (within Pune).
