Karigar / Tailor – Masala Soda

Masala Soda, a women’s ethnic and occasion-wear brand based in Baner, Pune, is looking for an experienced Karigar / Tailor to join our team.

Role: Karigar / Tailor
Location: Baner, Pune
Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month (in-hand), depending on experience and skill level

Responsibilities

• Stitching and finishing women’s ethnic and occasion-wear garments

• Working on different silhouettes including suits, blouses, dresses, lehengas and other custom garments

• Understanding measurements, patterns and garment construction

• Executing garments accurately as per designs and fitting requirements

• Handling alterations and ensuring a clean, quality finish

• Maintaining consistency in stitching, finishing and overall garment quality

• Working closely with the designer and team to complete orders within timelines

Requirements

• Prior experience as a tailor/karigar, preferably in women’s ethnic or occasion wear

• Good understanding of garment construction and finishing

• Ability to work independently and execute garments from measurements/design references

• Attention to detail and good stitching quality

• Ability to meet production and delivery timelines

• Experience with custom-made garments will be an added advantage
