Job Description – Fashion Advisor (Male)Position Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and customer-oriented Fashion Advisor to assist customers in selecting bridal blouse designs, fabrics, and embroidery options. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, strong fashion knowledge, and the ability to deliver an exceptional customer experience while coordinating with the tailoring and production teams.

Key Responsibilities1. Customer Consultation

• Welcome customers and understand their requirements, preferences, and occasion.

• Guide customers in selecting suitable blouse designs, fabrics, neck patterns, sleeve styles, and embroidery options.

• Explain available customization options and provide styling suggestions.

• Ensure a professional and pleasant shopping experience.

2. Sales & Customer Service

• Convert customer enquiries into confirmed orders.

• Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to showroom sales.

• Recommend premium embroidery, customization, and add-on services.

• Build long-term customer relationships and encourage repeat business.

3. Measurements & Order Booking

• Assist in collecting accurate customer measurements.

• Record customer requirements and design specifications accurately in the order form.

• Ensure all order details are complete before submitting them for production.

4. Coordination

• Coordinate with the tailoring, cutting, and embroidery teams to ensure smooth order execution.

• Follow up on customer orders and provide timely updates on trial and delivery schedules.

• Assist in resolving customer queries and coordinate alterations whenever required.

5. Showroom Operations

• Maintain showroom displays, design catalogs, and sample collections.

• Ensure the showroom is clean, organized, and customer-friendly.

• Support daily showroom activities and maintain product knowledge.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of bridal blouse designs, embroidery styles, and current fashion trends.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong customer handling and sales skills.

• Basic understanding of garment measurements and fitting.

• Good coordination and follow-up abilities.

• Positive attitude, well-groomed appearance, and professional behaviour.

Qualification

• Diploma or Degree in Fashion Designing or a related field (preferred).

• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in a boutique, bridal studio, ethnic wear showroom, or tailoring unit.

• Freshers with strong fashion knowledge and excellent communication skills may also apply.

Preferred Candidate

• Male candidates with experience in bridal boutiques, ethnic wear, designer blouses, or fashion retail.

• Knowledge of Aari work, hand embroidery, and bridal fashion trends will be an added advantage.

• Willing to work on weekends and during festive or wedding seasons.

• It is a Full Time Fashion Designer job for candidates with 6 months - 5 years of experience.
