Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented ITI Electrical Technician to join our motor manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in electrical wiring, coil winding, assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of motors used in various industrial applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform electrical coil winding for stators and rotors as per design specifications.

• Carry out assembly of motor components, including stators, rotors, end shields, and terminal boxes.

• Install and connect wiring, terminals, and insulation materials as per electrical diagrams.

• Conduct routine testing of motors including high voltage (HV), insulation resistance (IR), and no-load testing.

• Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.

• Identify and troubleshoot faults in electrical connections or winding assemblies.

• Ensure proper insulation, soldering, and taping of winding components.

• Maintain production tools and equipment in working condition.

• Follow safety protocols and maintain cleanliness in the work area.

• Coordinate with the quality team to ensure all motors meet standards before dispatch.

• Complete documentation and log work as per production protocols.

Qualifications:

• ITI in Electrical (Electrician / Wireman / Motor Winding or related trade)

• Minimum 0–1 years of experience in motor manufacturing or motor rewinding is preferred

Skills & Competencies:

• Good knowledge of motor types: single-phase, three-phase, AC/DC motors

• Ability to use electrical testing instruments (megger, multimeter, HV tester)

• Familiarity with insulation materials and winding procedures

• Basic understanding of safety procedures and PPE use

• Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions

• Attention to detail and accuracy in electrical work

Work Conditions:

• Physical work involving standing, bending, lifting up to [xx] kg

• Factory floor environment with moderate to high noise levels

• Shift-based work may be required
