Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Technician – Interior / Architecture Factory
Job Summary:
The Electrical Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining and ensuring the smooth operation of all electrical systems, machinery, and equipment within an interior/architecture manufacturing factory. The role supports uninterrupted production by performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting electrical faults, and ensuring safety compliance across factory operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of factory machinery and electrical systems.
Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical faults in production machines used for interior and architectural manufacturing (CNC machines, cutting machines, edge banders, panel saws, compressors, etc.).
Maintain electrical panels, motors, switchgear, control circuits, and power distribution systems.
Monitor and maintain factory lighting systems, wiring, DG backup systems, and utilities.
Read and interpret electrical drawings, machine manuals, and wiring diagrams.
Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to reduce machine downtime.
Conduct regular inspections to identify and prevent equipment failures.
Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and factory regulations.
Maintain maintenance logs, service reports, and spare parts inventory.
Support installation and commissioning of new machinery and factory equipment.
Assist in improving equipment efficiency and implementing energy-saving initiatives.
Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and maintenance requirements.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
ITI / Diploma / Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Knowledge of industrial electrical systems, motors, control panels, PLCs, and automation basics.
Familiarity with machinery used in interior/architectural factories.
Strong troubleshooting and preventive maintenance skills.
Ability to use electrical testing tools and instruments.
Understanding of industrial safety procedures.
Experience:
2–5 years of experience in electrical maintenance in furniture, interior, woodwork, modular, or architectural manufacturing industries preferred.
Work Environment:
Factory-based role involving machine maintenance and shop-floor support.
May require shift work and emergency breakdown support.
