Electrician

We are looking for an Electrician and CCTV Technician to join our team at Agasthya Electronics. The tasks will include installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in buildings and houses. The position offers an in-hand salary of ₹15000 - ₹23000 and growth opportunities.

🎥 CCTV Technician – Roles & Responsibilities

🔧 Installation & Setup

• Install CCTV cameras (analog, IP, PTZ, dome, bullet, etc.)

• Mount cameras, DVRs/NVRs, monitors, and related hardware

• Run and terminate cables (coaxial, Ethernet, fibre, power)

• Configure recording devices, storage, and display systems

• Set up network connections and IP addressing for CCTV systems

Configuration & Programming

• Configure camera settings (resolution, frame rate, motion detection)

• Program recording schedules and alerts

• Integrate CCTV with access control, alarms, or fire systems

• Set up remote viewing on PCs and mobile devices

• Configure cloud or local storage and backup systems

Maintenance & Troubleshooting

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance

• Diagnose and repair camera, DVR/NVR, power, or network issues

• Replace faulty components and upgrade systems when required

• Ensure uninterrupted system performance and uptime

Testing & Quality Assurance

• Test cameras for proper coverage, focus, and night vision

• Verify recording, playback, and data retention

• Ensure systems meet safety and performance standards

• Conduct system handover and final testing with clients

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain installation diagrams and system documentation

• Record service reports and maintenance logs

• Provide user manuals and system operation instructions

• Update inventory and equipment records

Customer Support & Training

• Train clients or security staff on system operation

• Respond to service calls and emergency breakdowns

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting guidance

• Advise clients on system upgrades and best practices

Compliance & Safety

• Follow electrical and safety regulations

• Ensure compliance with data protection and privacy laws

• Adhere to company and client security policies

• Use proper PPE and safe work practices

Skills Often Required

• Knowledge of CCTV hardware & networking basics

• Understanding of IP networking (TCP/IP, ports, PoE)

• Ability to read wiring diagrams and layouts

• Problem-solving and attention to detail

• Good communication and customer service skills

  Job Requirements:

The minimum qualification for this role is Diploma and 1 - 3 years of experience. Complete knowledge of safety procedures, the ability to understand CCTV drawings/blueprints, critical thinking, and problem-solving ability are a must.

• It is a Full Time Electrician job for candidates with 1 - 3 years of experience.
