We are looking for a responsible, punctual, and safety-conscious Driver who understands the importance of transporting young children with care and patience. The ideal candidate should be disciplined, courteous, well-groomed, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
A preschool driver plays a very important role in creating trust and confidence among parents by ensuring children travel safely and comfortably every day.
Key Responsibilities
Student Transportation
Safely transport children to and from school as per assigned routes and schedules
Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off of students without unnecessary delays
Assist young children while boarding and deboarding the vehicle safely
Ensure every child is seated properly and safely during travel
Maintain discipline and a calm environment inside the vehicle
Coordinate with school staff and parents regarding student transportation when required
Vehicle Maintenance & Safety
Conduct daily vehicle checks before starting duty (fuel, brakes, lights, tires, cleanliness, etc.)
Ensure the school vehicle is clean, hygienic, and well-maintained at all times
Immediately report any mechanical issues, damages, or required servicing
Maintain all vehicle documents such as insurance, PUC, registration, and permits up to date
Follow all traffic rules, road safety regulations, and transport compliance requirements strictly
School Support Responsibilities
Support the school in outdoor errands such as bank work, material collection, courier drops, vendor coordination, etc.
Assist during school events, field trips, annual functions, and special programs
Be available for emergency transportation requirements when needed
Professional Conduct
Maintain polite and respectful behavior with children, parents, and staff
Ensure confidentiality and professionalism while representing the school
Follow school discipline, attendance, and operational policies strictly
Required Skills & Qualifications
Valid commercial driving license (mandatory)
Minimum 3–5 years of driving experience, preferably in school transportation
Clean driving record with strong knowledge of traffic rules and local routes
Experience handling children safely is highly preferred
Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance
Calm temperament, patience, and good interpersonal behavior
Ability to respond responsibly during emergencies
Punctual, dependable, and trustworthy
