Job Summary
We are looking for a responsible, experienced, and safety-conscious College Bus Driver to operate college buses and safely transport students and staff between designated routes, the college campus, hostels, and other approved locations.
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate the college bus according to the assigned routes and schedules.
Pick up and drop off students and staff at designated locations on time.
Ensure the safety and discipline of students while travelling.
Follow all traffic rules, road safety regulations, and college transport policies.
Maintain a safe and comfortable environment inside the bus.
Conduct basic daily checks of the vehicle, including brakes, tyres, lights, fuel, oil, and other essential components.
Immediately report any vehicle defects, accidents, breakdowns, or maintenance requirements to the concerned authority.
Keep the bus clean and in good condition.
Maintain required vehicle documents, trip records, and logbooks as instructed.
Coordinate with the Transport/Administration Department regarding routes, timings, and vehicle maintenance.
Exercise extra caution while transporting students, particularly during peak traffic hours.
Follow emergency and accident procedures when required.
Perform other transport-related duties assigned by the college management.
