🎯 Job Summary

The Auto Driver – Supplies is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods and materials from warehouses to clients, retail outlets, or between branches. This role ensures efficient last-mile delivery while maintaining vehicle upkeep and proper documentation.

🧩 Key Roles & Responsibilities

🔹 Goods Delivery & Pickup

• Transport supplies, products, or materials as per scheduled routes and delivery plans.

• Load and unload goods with care, ensuring no damage or loss.

• Collect delivery receipts, invoices, or signatures as required.

🔹 Route & Time Management

• Follow assigned routes and time schedules to ensure on-time delivery.

• Plan and adjust routes in case of traffic, roadblocks, or delays.

• Maintain communication with the logistics or dispatch team.

🔹 Vehicle Maintenance

• Ensure the auto is clean, roadworthy, and properly maintained.

• Report any mechanical issues or damages immediately.

• Refuel the vehicle and track mileage and fuel consumption.

🔹 Safety & Compliance

• Follow all traffic rules and safety regulations during transit.

• Secure all loads properly before starting the trip.

• Carry valid driving license, vehicle documents, and ID at all times.

🔹 Record Keeping

• Maintain a daily log of deliveries, fuel usage, and trip reports.

• Submit completed delivery documents to the supervisor.

🧠 Skills & Qualifications

• Valid Auto-Rickshaw Driving License (Commercial).

• Minimum 2 years of experience in delivery or logistics preferred.

• Familiarity with local routes and road regulations.

• Basic understanding of delivery receipts/invoices.

• Physically fit and able to lift packages if needed.
