In this role, you will lead a team of field executives/associates to drive POS terminal deployment, merchant acquisition, and service excellence. You will be responsible for hitting aggressive targets while ensuring high levels of merchant satisfaction within the digital payments ecosystem.Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Management: Lead, mentor, and monitor a team of field executives to achieve daily/monthly sales and deployment targets.Merchant Acquisition: Oversee the end-to-end sales cycle for Paytm EDC/POS terminals across retail segments.Performance Tracking: Conduct regular reviews of team productivity, attendance, and market coverage.Retention & Service: Ensure timely installation and provide ongoing support to merchants to reduce churn and maximize terminal throughput.Market Intelligence: Stay updated on competitor activity and provide feedback to regional leadership.Candidate ProfileExperience: 3–6 years of experience in Sales or Operations within the Fintech, Banking, or Telecom sectors.Domain Expertise: Strong preference will be given to candidates with a background in EDC/POS terminal sales and merchant acquiring.Leadership: Proven track record of managing field teams and delivering results under pressure.Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
