Job Description

A Telecaller's job involves making outbound calls to promote products, generate leads, and handle customer inquiries or complaints, while also maintaining accurate customer records and meeting sales targets. Key skills include excellent communication and listening, problem-solving, persuasion, basic computer knowledge, and the ability to handle rejection and stress. Responsibilities

  • Outbound Calls:

    Contact potential and existing customers to promote products/services, generate sales leads, and schedule appointments. 

  • Customer Service:

    Address customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and provide information about products and services. 

  • Record Keeping:

    Maintain accurate customer interaction records, update databases, and document sales calls and deals. 

  • Sales Support:

    Follow up with leads and customers, meet sales targets, and adapt sales pitches based on customer needs. 

  • Reporting:

    Report call analysis and observations to team leads and follow organizational guidelines and procedures. 

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Communication:

    Excellent oral and written communication skills, persuasive communication, and active listening abilities. 

  • Interpersonal Skills:

    Ability to build rapport with clients, handle difficult situations, and work effectively in a team. 

  • Technical Skills:

    Basic computer skills for data entry and database management, with some familiarity with CRM software being a plus. 

  • Personal Attributes:

    Strong time management, multitasking, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and resilience in handling rejection. 

  • Education:

    A high school diploma or equivalent is often sufficient, though specific educational backgrounds may vary by company.
