Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive to join our hospitality team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving room revenue, corporate bookings, and event sales by identifying new business opportunities and maintaining strong client relationships. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of relevant work experience in hotel sales, excellent communication skills, and a solid understanding of basic computer applications to manage daily sales operations effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development: Identify and target new corporate clients, travel agents, and event planners to generate new business leads.
Client Retention: Maintain and build strong relationships with existing corporate accounts and regular guests to ensure repeat business.
Sales Targets: Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly room nights and banquet sales targets.
Property Tours: Conduct site inspections and show rounds of hotel rooms, banquet halls, and amenities for potential clients.
Market Research: Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends to help develop effective sales strategies.
Reporting: Prepare daily and weekly sales reports, keeping track of sales pipelines and client interactions.
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience: Minimum 1 year of relevant sales experience within the hotel or hospitality industry.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
in English (and the local language, if applicable) to negotiate and close deals effectively.
Computer Skills: Basic computer knowledge, including proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and email etiquette. Experience with Hotel Property Management Systems (PMS) or CRM software is a plus.
Interpersonal Skills: Strong networking, negotiation, and presentation skills with a pleasant and professional personality.
Education: Graduate or Diploma in Hospitality, Hotel Management, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
