Role:
The Field Support Engineer is responsible for providing on-site support for broadband services in the retail segment.
The role includes installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of broadband connections at customer
premises while ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to SLA timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install broadband connections, routers, Wi-Fi devices, and modems at customer premises.
• Perform troubleshooting of broadband connectivity issues, cabling, and equipment failures.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and ensure timely resolution of service requests.
• Conduct feasibility checks for new broadband connections in coordination with sales and technical teams.
• Support customers with product usage, configuration, and basic troubleshooting.
• Maintain proper documentation of installations, service calls, and resolutions.
• Coordinate with NOC, Technical Coordinators, and Customer Care for escalated issues.
• Follow company standards, safety procedures, and field protocols.
Essential Requirements:
• ITI / Diploma / Graduate in Electronics, Electrical, Telecommunications, Networking, or related field.
• 1–4 years of experience in broadband installation, maintenance, or field support (ISP preferred).
• Knowledge of FTTH, FTTx, LAN/WAN, and Wi-Fi troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with ONT/ONU, routers, switches, and network configuration.
• Valid two-wheeler driving license (mandatory for field mobility).

• Good knowledge of broadband technologies and networking basics.
• Effective communication and customer-handling abilities.
• Ability to work independently in field conditions.
