Role Overview

We’re seeking a smart, proactive Business Development Associate who will be the bridge between international/domestic buyers and our internal teams. From the first introduction to project conversion, you'll be the go-to person ensuring clear communication, alignment, and follow-through.

Key Responsibilities

Client Communication & Conversion

Initiate and maintain conversations with potential buyers (email, calls, virtual meetings)

Manage buyer accounts from introductory stage to conversion of projects

Provide timely responses to all buyer queries with clarity and professionalism

Coordination with Internal Teams

Liaise with the costing and product development teams to create accurate quotations and samples

Ensure deadlines are met and feedback loops are closed quickly

Translate buyer requirements into actionable briefs for design and merchandising

Buyer Visit Management

Organize and host buyer visits to the factory/office

Prepare product displays, walkthroughs, and factory tours

Represent the brand with professionalism, attention to detail, and warmth

Product Understanding

Develop in-depth knowledge of our products, processes, and USPs

Confidently explain materials, pricing logic, compliance, and customisation capabilities

Key Requirements

1–3 years of relevant experience in B2B business development, client servicing, or export merchandising

Strong written and verbal communication skills (English proficiency is essential)

High attention to detail and strong coordination skills

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment

Prior exposure to manufacturing/export industry is a plus
