Account Executive

Job description :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy in financial records, and assisting in the preparation of financial reports. This role requires strong analytical skills, knowledge of accounting principles, and the ability to meet deadlines effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Management:

• Maintain and reconcile daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.

• Monitor bank reconciliations and prepare cash flow statements.

Invoicing and Documentation:

• Generate, review, and process invoices.

• Maintain accurate and updated financial records and documentation.

Financial Reporting:

• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

• Support in budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis.

  Compliance and Auditing:

• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable tax regulations.

• Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits.

  Support Functions:

• Assist the finance team in resolving discrepancies and queries.

• Provide support during financial reviews and strategic planning.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field (preferred).

• Experience: 2-5 years of experience in accounting or a similar role.

• Technical Skills: 1) Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, SAP).

2)Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and other financial tools.

• Strong analytical and numerical skills.

• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
