Tandoor Cook

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tandoor Chef for a client location in Gurgaon. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of tandoor operations, food preparation, and quality control. The candidate will be responsible for preparing a variety of tandoori dishes while maintaining hygiene, consistency, and kitchen standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook tandoori dishes such as kebabs, tikkas, naan, roti, and other tandoor-based items.

• Ensure consistent taste, quality, and presentation of all dishes.

• Operate and maintain the tandoor safely and efficiently.

• Prepare marinades, sauces, and ingredients as per recipes and standards.

• Monitor food quality and portion control to minimize wastage.

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and tandoor section.

• Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely food preparation and service.

• Manage inventory of tandoor-related ingredients and report shortages.

• Follow food safety guidelines and company SOPs.

• Assist in menu development and introduce new tandoori preparations when required.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Tandoor Chef.

• Strong knowledge of tandoori cuisine and cooking techniques.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.

• Good teamwork and communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple orders while maintaining quality standards.

• Flexibility to work rotational shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.

• It is a Full Time Cook / Chef job for candidates with 3 - 6+ years Experience.
