Position: Staff Cook
Department: Kitchen / Food Production

Location: BKC and Thane
Key Responsibilities
Prepare staff meals as per the daily menu and required quantity.
Maintain consistent taste, quality, hygiene, and presentation of staff food.
Ensure proper handling, storage, and preparation of ingredients.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, cooking area, and equipment.
Monitor food stock and inform the Senior Chef about required ingredients.
Follow food safety, hygiene, and company standards at all times.
Minimize food wastage and ensure proper utilization of ingredients.
Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely preparation and service of staff meals.
Maintain proper cleaning and sanitation practices.
Follow instructions given by the Chef / Kitchen Manager.
Requirements
Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Staff Cook or similar role.
Experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality industry preferred.
Good knowledge of Indian cuisine and staff meal preparation.
Ability to handle bulk cooking efficiently.
Knowledge of basic food hygiene and safety standards.
Good teamwork and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Willingness to work in shifts, weekends, and on holidays as required.
Preferred Skills
Good knowledge of vegetarian and non-vegetarian food preparation.
Ability to plan and prepare daily staff meals.
Good understanding of portion control and food wastage management.
Punctual, disciplined, and responsible approach to work.
